A new corn starch based technology called TetraKO offers wildland/urban interface fire incident professionals an opportunity to be prepared with an effective, economical and environmentally safe fire suppression alternative. This Next Generation Gel is used for fire suppression and structure protection. TetraKO recently was recognized and won several Regional and National technology awards. TetraKO is non-toxic to aquatic and mammalian species and is classified as ‘Ready’ biodegradable, the safest level for any product in this category. TetraKO also passed very tough uniform corrosion testing. Please visit our web site, www.tetrako.com for product use Testimonials, live burn videos, FAQ’s, Case Studies, Applications and TetraKO advantages. TetraKO offers outstanding benefits for wildland/urban interface fire incidents. • Cost effective versus using foam • Non-toxic to waterways and mammals • Non corrosive to metals • Offers a minimum 10 to 1 enhancement when compared to water • Clean up with water • Is not slippery • Contains no polymers and is used through standard fire equipment • ‘Stick and Stay’ properties allow for more effective fire suppression and building protection using less material • Will not slide down or evaporate like water or foam • Is easily deployed thru backpacks, standard apparatus, ultra high pressure systems and air craft • Does not leave a chemical foot print • Fast mixing • Unique heat absorption capabilities Jim Axt Midwest Regional Manager EarthClean Corporation
