The proposed modifications will be tested this summer in a limited number of field units. The results will be evaluated and alternatives for revision of “Guidance for Implementation of Federal Wildland Fire Policy” will be presented to WFLC for consideration and potential issuance in November 2008. The purpose of the MyFireCommunity site is to provide a venue for asking questions about implementing the “test”.

Learning does not stop when the course, conference, seminar, etc is over but rather continues as we apply the Lessons Learned from our everyday jobs. Let's continue the dialogue on Applied Fire Effects and learn through posting questions, lessons learned, new information, new publications, etc so that we all advance in applying fire effects knowledge on our respective landscapes.

FCAMMS offer advanced meteorological intellegence based on high spatial resolution meteorological simulations which, in turn, drive advanced smoke managment products, such as BlueSky, and improved fire weather and fire danger intellegence.
